by Peter Graves
Rain, Rain Go away. It wasn't just at Lake Placid yesterday where it caused difficulties at the U.S. National Nordic Combined Championships, but today (Sunday, Oct. 11) as well at the Swiss National Nordic Combined championships in Einsiedeln.
At the Schweizermeisterschaften in nordic combined it was a repeat win for Ronny Herr. Herr has competed on the World Cup combined tour since 2000 and lives in Einsiedeln. He defeated Seppi Hurschler for the win, while Joel Bieri took the bronze medal.
Heer, 28, has a best ever Olympic performance at the 2006 Olympic Winter Games in Torino of 20th in the 7.5 km sprint.
