DEER VALLEY, Utah — China’s Nina Li posted the highest qualifying score and led three of her teammates into Friday night’s women’s aerials final at the Visa Freestyle International.
    Li, currently third in the World Cup standings, scored 100.99 points with a back-full, double-full that had a degree of difficulty of 3.525. Australian veteran and current World Cup leader Jacqui Cooper qualified second with a score of 100.51, while Alla Tsuper of Belarus was third with 99.37 points. Both Cooper and Tsuper launched jumps with a degree of difficulty of 3.8.
    Two U.S. Ski Team aerialists made the night final by finishing in the top 12. Jana Lindsey was 10th, posting a score of 79.22 on a back-full-full. Emily Cook was 11th after launching a back-full-full for a 78.12 score.
    Shuang Cheng (4th), Xinxin Guo (7th) and Xin Zhang (12th) were the other Chinese athletes to make the final.
    The women's final is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. MT.
