Rolland, who became a World Champion earlier this month in Japan, overtook teammate Xavier Bertoni, sixth in today’s competition, in the overall rankings by winning today’s contest, giving him a 40-point advantage.

American David Wise stepped up to his first World Cup podium and took home the silver medal at today’s competition followed by Swiss Nils Lauper in third. Lauper ended up third in the overall standings followed by Wise in fourth.

American Tyler Peterson was just off the podium of today’s competition in fourth for his best World Cup result ever.

Rolland podiumed at all three of this season’s World Cup events and won two.

Today’s women’s contest was taken by France’s Anais Caradeux. Faivre finished second, followed by Canadian Rosalinda Groenewoud in third.

Faivre also won at the World Championships in Japan, as well as twice on this season’s World Cup tour. Caradeux ended the season in second overall, followed by Canadian Megan Gunning in third and American Jessica Cumming in fourth.

No American women competed in today’s final.

The freestyle World Cup season comes to an end tomorrow with men’s and women’s ski cross races. As the only American in either field, Casey Puckett will attempt to end the season with a win, something that has eluded him all year.
