NCAA Championships: Ready to Rumble
March 8, 2011
Almost three feet of snow and 148 of the nation's best college ski racers have just converged on Stowe, Vermont, where the University of Vermont is hosting the 58th edition of the NCAA Skiing Championships March 9-12 at Stowe Mountain Resort (alpine) and Trapp Family Lodge (cross country).
It is, of course, this country's main event for college skiing, but the fields will boast young men and women from around the world, some of whom have competed on the World Cup and at various World Championships events this season. Read about all the action every evening on skiracing.com and, if you’re on Twitter, follow @Bryce_Hubner for race updates throughout the day.
The host Catamounts enter the event as the the No. 1 ranked team in the land, followed by the University of Colorado, University of Utah, New Mexico, and Dartmouth. See more about Ski Racing's NCAA Power Rankings and individual contenders by clicking here.
