Bode Miller positioned second after DH leg of Lauberhorn K

The Lauberhorn track firmed up from training for the downhill portion of the World Cup super combined at Wengen this morning with Bode Miller appearing in good position at half time, sitting second behind Swiss Beat Feuz with a slalom leg remaining.

Ted Ligety is 2.7 seconds off the pace and will be the only other American in the second run. Two Canadians crashed, Ryan Semple and Louis-Pierre Helie both appeared to be alright after falls.

Falling temperatures and no small amount of water contributed to the track condition improving, but it still developed rough sections.
