Adam Chadbourne has been named Director of Alpine Coaching at Proctor Academy in Andover, New Hampshire.  This move follows seven years as Alpine Director at Vermont’s Burke Mountain Academy.

A graduate of Bates College, Adam served the United States Ski Team for six years, working as Men’s National Team coach from 2002-2005, and as Head Coach of the powerhouse Men’s Junior Team in 2003-04.

In his new role at Proctor, Adam will act as Head Coach and oversee all aspects of coaching and athlete management.

Said Chadbourne, “Proctor is a wonderful school with a heritage rich in snow sports. I look forward to working with Proctor’s excellent staff and capitalizing on the phenomenal facilities at our disposal. The opportunity to move this strong program to one that is nationally competitive is real and I am excited to help make that happen.”

Under Chadbourne’s leadership at Burke Mountain Academy the school was named the USSA Alpine Program of the Year in 2007. In 2010 Chadbourne was named both USSA Domestic Coach of the Year and Vermont Alpine Racing Association Coach of the Year.
