Crow subs for McDonald on U.S. world juniors team{mosimage}PARK CITY, Utah – Kara Crow was named Wednesday to the U.S. World Junior Championships team, which will compete March 3-8 in Quebec, Canada.

Crow, a member of the 2005 world juniors team that competed in Bardonecchia, Italy, replaces Jilyne McDonald, who has declined her team position.

U.S. Ski Team Alpine Director Jesse Hunt also announced the USA world juniors staff. Walt Evans, national competition director, will be team leader. Andrew Cesati, U.S. Ski Team men’s development coach, is men’s team captain and Eric Harlow, U.S. Ski Team women’s development coach, is women’s team captain.

The World Junior Championships, considered the premier international competition for alpine junior racers, will be hosted at Le Massif Alpine Training Center in Petite Riviere Sant-Francois and at Mont-Sainte Anne ski resort in the Beaupre Region north of Quebec City.
