Ski Racing's staff Writer Hilary Lund's Hardcore had a fabulous run in finals. After concluding the regular season ranked third in the Moser-Proell Division, and despite having injured skiers in the slalom and SG positions, the team powered through to the final match. Anja Paerson tried her best to carry the squad, contributing a three race total of 215points, and Marco Buechel in the DH position added 32 more, but it was far from enough to threaten the potent Slammer team.
The Slammerz also won the total point prize, accumulating 4599 for the season. Interosseous Membrane, the Moser-Proell Division champion, was second on that list at 3450 with the Birds of Pray third at 3081.

Big total for the week went to The Ribbons with a 471 total, with Aksel Svindal dragging in 316 for his three wins and the 15th place which cemented his first World Cup title. The Ribbons scored strongly in virtually every category, missing only when Benjamin Raich missed a score in the GS. Four teams were over 400points for the week with the Kevlar Lederhosen amassing 442, the Rand Coporation 420 and the Slammerz at 410. The Hammers win the opportunity to select first in next season's draft.
