Recap
The league-leading Golden Ribbons continued to blaze through the competition, dusting the Schwarzeneggers behind the double-win weekend of Michael Walchhofer. … Team PMS made up ground with five of the six team positions scoring solidly and Janica Kostelic contributing 144 by herself, leading to the defeat of Hawk’s Harem despite collecting the GS win from Maria Jose Rienda Contreras and multiple race scores from Julia Mancuso and Tanja Poutiainen. The Smokin’ Mirrors got the high point total of the week with 126 from Michaela Dorfmeister, 86 from Andrea Fischbacher and 60 from Kathrin Zettel in the GS to push by the Destroyers despite good points from Kjetil Aamodt and Johann Grugger. The Blacks got one in the win column with 80 from Kostelic in slalom and 80 more from Dorfmeister in SG as the primary power source. The Hammers had 80 from Fritz Strobl in the DH but couldn’t garner enough support from the rest of the cast.

Rick’s Rangers earned 202 points from Anja Paerson alone to roll over the Bottle Rockets despite scores from five of six players. And, in the marquee matchup, the Weekend Warriors edged the Birds of Pray with the DH win from Walchhofer, the SL win from Paerson and a two-event score from Aksel Svindal.
