Fog postpones Les Contamines ski cross World Cup
A World Cup ski cross race scheduled for today (Jan. 9) in Les Contamines, France has been postponed due to thick fog. The race has been rescheduled for Sunday Jan. 10.
American Casey Puckett finished sixth in a qualifying round earlier this morning. Teammate Caitlin Ciccone also qualified before race officials made the decision to postpone the race.
“Caitlin was getting ready to go,” said U.S. ski cross head coach Tyler Shepherd. “We’ll do it again tomorrow.
