The 2007 FIS Freestyle World Championships officially begin Monday night with the opening ceremony in Madonna di Campiglio, Italy, and competition begins Tuesday with the skiercross finals for men and women.

officially begin Monday night with the opening ceremony in Madonna di Campiglio, Italy, and competition begins Tuesday with the skiercross finals for men and women.
    The remainder of the competition schedule includes the moguls events on Friday, and the dual moguls and aerials finals on Saturday.
    The U.S. Ski Team is sending 16 athletes to the championships to compete in moguls and aerials. No U.S. athletes qualified for skiercross as most preferred to compete in domestic events like The Honda Ski Tour.

The following is a complete schedule of events (all events local time, and ET where indicated):

Tuesday, March 6
— Women’s aerials training, 9:30-11 a.m.
— Skiercross finals, 1-2:15 p.m.
— Men’s aerials training, 1-2:30 p.m.
— Moguls training (men and women), 5-7 p.m.

Wednesday, March 7
— Men’s aerials training, 9:30-11:30 a.m.
— Women’s aerials training, noon-2 p.m.
— Moguls training (men and women), 5-7 p.m.

Thursday, March 8
— Women’s aerials training, 9:30-11:30 a.m.
— Men’s aerials training, noon-2 p.m.
— Aerials start order draw, 3:30-4 p.m.
— Moguls start order draw, 4-4:30 p.m.
— Moguls training (men and women), 5-7 p.m.

Friday, March 9
— Women’s aerials training, 8:30-10 a.m.
— Women’s aerials qualifying, 10:15-11 a.m.
— Men’s aerials training, 11:15 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
