Gand and Couperthwait leave Rossignol; two World Cup athletes to sign{mosimage}Jeanne-Marie Gand and George Couperthwait, have left the Rossignol after their positions were eliminated in a restructuring shuffle. The company says an official press release is due out soon.

Gand, the vice-president of advertising and communications, and Couperthwait, the company’s alpine product manager, were both long-time employees of the company, whose North American headquarters are in Vermont.

Meanwhile the Rossignol’s race director in France, Francois Sedan, said that he has made progress in luring two more Austrians onto the brand’s alpine equipment. Thomas Graggaber has completed a contract with Rossignol, and Sedan says he’s confident that eight-time World Cup winner Andreas Schifferer will sign in the next few weeks.
