Macartney top American in Lake Louise training

The Canadians took the third and final training run at Lake Louise today with John Kucera nabbing the fastest time—1:47.26. Scott Macartney was the top American, finishing fifth, .73 seconds behind Kucera. Marco Sullivan also skied well, winding up 16^th, with a time of 1:48.50. Up-and-comer Andrew Weibrecht was just behind Sully in 19^th (1:48.63).

American Steve Nyman didn’t have his best run, finishing 2.12 seconds behind Kucera, ending up 38^th, and Jeremy Transue was 2.33 seconds out, in 44^th. Teammates TJ Lanning and Bode Miller (who won the first two training runs) opted not to ski today.
