HIGH WINDS and poor visibility combined to postpone Saturday's season-opening college giant slalom race at the Montana State Invitational in Big Sky, Montana.
    Meet organizers planned to run both the GS and slalom events Sunday.
Defending NCAA champion Colorado, Utah, Nevada, New Mexico, Denver, Western State and Alaska-Anchorage are competing with the host Bobcats in the first alpine event of the Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Ski Association schedule.
