Ryan Semple headed up an all-Canadian podium at a Nor-Am slalom today in Sunday River, ME. Teammates Louis-Pierre Helie and Brad Spence followed Semple through snowy conditions to put a lock on the podium.

Ryan Semple headed up an all-Canadian podium at a Nor-Am slalom today in Sunday River, ME. Teammates Louis-Pierre Helie and Brad Spence followed Semple through snowy conditions to put a lock on the podium. Helie currently stands as the Nor-Am’s top overall male racer with more than 250 more points than his nearest competitor.

Four Americans followed the Canadian trio led by Warner Nickerson, in fourth for the second consecutive day. Paul McDonald, Will Brandenburg and David Chodounsky took fifth, sixth and seventh respectively.   

Yesterday’s third place finisher, American Will Gregorak did not finish the first run.

Races wrap up tomorrow in Sunday River with a final men’s slalom before a three-week break leading up to men’s and women’s Nor-Am GS and slalom races in Nakiska, AB, starting Jan. 31.
