Nordica revamps competition services

New Hampshire-based ski manufacturer Nordica USA announced in mid-July that the company will be rolling out a revamped “fully equipped competition and promotion team.”

The company’s newly named director of product and promotions, Andy Hare, will take the reigns of the overhauled promotions department assisted by marketing and promotions coordinator Erica Kattalia.

Also added to Nordica’s roster were two new field service representatives, eastern competitions and promotions coordinator Ethan Korpi, and his western counterpart Sam Beck.

“I’m very excited about the promotions team that we now have in place,” said Willy Booker, general manager of Nordica USA. “With direction from Andy, who has a tremendous experience base in addition to three young, motivated and highly skilled group to work with, I’m confident that we will be setting the standard for service in this area of the industry.”

According to a release by the company, Hare, Kattalia, Korpi and Beck all have “extensive ski racing backgrounds both at the academy and collegiate levels, which is a background, that is very difficult to replicate.”

“With a clearly established presence in the field it is critical to maintain our support and grow our customer base.” Said Hare. “In a season as critical as this one it is very important to be in the field at the grass roots level working with our customers, athletes and partners to insure the best results and the best service.“
