Elizabeth Rolfs, a Burke Mountain Academy skier, took the national GS crown at the Marriot U-18 Championships at Mammoth Mountain, Calif., Thursday (March 7), stomping the competition with a 1.62 second advantage over Anna Mounsey, of the Alpental Snoqualamie program. Rowmark Academy’s Breezy Johnson collected the bronze medal.

It was a testament to the Mammoth Mountain race crew the event was held at all as snows fell heavily overnight and during the race.

Katey Greene of Park City, Sydney Henegan of Alyeska and Isabella Andreini of Rowmark took the four through six placings respectively. Audrey O’Brien, Mackenzie Bachmeier, Kelly Anne Dinapoli and Anna Moriah Wilson finished out the top 10, Dinapoli moving up from the 39th start despite the snow.
