Team Rossignol is reporting the addition of Swiss skier Marc Berthod to the ski brand.

Berthod is returning to Rossignol after having skied with the company through the 2005 season. He spent a season with Nordica, but has most recently skied for Atomic.

Marc Berthod, 27, was the bronze medalist in combined at the 2007 World Championships and has five World Cup podium finishes including a slalom and GS win at Adelboden.

Rossignol said the addition to their stable of skiers will strengthening the team for technical events.  Berthod signed a contract with Rossignol for skis, boots and bindings.

He will be joining Swiss skiers Didier Defago, Silvan Zurbriggen, Reto Schmidiger, Lara Gut and Fraenzi Aufdenblatten on the brand.
