American Seth Wescott won the first snowboardcross World Cup of his career today in Arosa, Switzerland. The Olympic gold medalist lead the team to three top-ten finishes, with Nick Baumgartner (fifth) and Graham Wanatabe (seventh). On the podium with Wescott were Markus Schairer of Austria in second, and Dave Speiser of Germany in third.

The women’s competition went to Switzerland’s Sandra Frei. Norwegian Helene Olafsen took second and Nelly Moenne Loccoz of France finished third. Lindsey Jacobellis lead the U.S. women in ninth place. Click here for full race results.
