It’s snowing like mad in Val d’Isere forcing a slight change to the schedule for races Dec. 8&9. St Moritz is ready to roll for races the same weekend, and Val Gardena has been given the snow control green light for its races Dec. 14 & 15.

The official word from the FIS read:

Due to the weather forecast for the
upcoming days with snowfalls and an expected improvement for the
weekend, the events in Val ‘Isere will be switched. So based on the
new program, the Slalom will take place on Saturday December 8th
while the Giant Slalom is now scheduled for Sunday December 9th.

Postcard weather on tap. Game on.
