In a curtailed training run at St Moritz ahead of a three race World Cup stop this weekend, Swiss Dominique Gisin edged Nadia Fanchini of Italy with Britt Janyk in third just three tenths of a second back. Top American in the run, stopped after 31 starters due to wind, was Lindsey Vonn, resting outside the top 10 in 11th.


In a curtailed training run at St Moritz ahead of a three race World Cup stop this weekend, Swiss Dominique Gisin edged Nadia Fanchini of Italy with Britt Janyk in third just three tenths of a second back. Top American in the run, stopped after 31 starters due to wind, was Lindsey Vonn, resting outside the top 10 in 11th.

The Swiss got the best production. Along with Gisin the team had Nadia Stuger in fifth and Monika Dumermuth sixth. Canada also had Kelly VanderBeek in seventh.

The actual racing begins tomorrow with a super combined, with downhill slated Saturday and a super G Sunday.
