Day One of the qualifying round of the Freeskiing Nationals kicked off under sunny skies and perfect snow conditions at Snowbird, Utah. Due to the amount of freeskiers attempting to qualify for the main event (the Freeskiing World Tour) two qualifying days were necessary in order to give each competitor in this sold-out event a crack at competing against pre-qualified World Tour athletes.

The first day of the World Tour begins today as competitors head to Silver Fox with the final and super final rounds taking place on North Baldy on Saturday.
