Training canceled in St. Moritz

ST MORITZ, Switzerland – The FIS Audi women’s World Cup downhill training in St.  Moritz was canceled due to strong wind Thursday.

The training was delayed, then the first three racers ran, then organizers called it.

Notably, Swiss racer Dominique Gisin, who tore her meniscus in a crash a couple of weeks ago in Haus im Ennstal, was on the start list Thursday.

Racing is scheduled to begin on Friday in St. Moritz with super-combined.
