VIST establishes American presence in conjunction with Stockli{mosimage}VAIL, CO РJanuary 19, 2005 РVIST the Italian manufacturer of high performance alpine ski bindings, plates, apparel, and accessories is announcing the establishment of a sales, marketing, and service presence in the USA. VIST North America will be operating in conjunction with Sțckli Ski USA to provide sales and service for all VIST products.

Kevin Calabrese will be the General Manager for the US operations, overseeing all sales, service, and marketing issues for the VIST brand. Kevin’s extensive background in the sport and the industry spans from retailer to supplier, as well as a strong ski racing background. ‘Kevin’s experience will be invaluable to establishing the VIST brand in the North American Market’, commented Elmar Stimpfl, Managing Director of VIST Srl.

VIST (www.vist.it) established in the heart of the Italy’s Dolomite mountains in 1997 has become the official supplier of race plates for many of the world’s leading ski companies. Over the past seven years VIST has been an innovator and a leader, supplying products to many of the world’s best skiers. VIST is taking this approach of athlete driven development to it its bindings and apparel projects. VIST will be introducing its collections of performance apparel and ski bindings as well as its innovative and convenient speed-lock demo and rental binding plate system at the 2005 SIA show in Las Vegas, booth B-1446.
