Lindsey Vonn’s spokesman Lewis Kay wrote in an email the four-time World Cup champion could continue her training program as early as next week.

On her Facebook page, Vonn said, “Finally starting to get healthy again! Looks like I had some infection in my tummy but everyone has been taking good care of me. Thanks for all the well wishes! I hope to get back on skis soon, I miss the snow.”

After being released from the hospital earlier this week, Vonn was forced to cancel an appearance at the U.S. Alpine Team announcement in her hometown of Vail on Thursday.

If she’s healthy enough, Vonn’s next scheduled races are the giant slalom and slalom in Aspen on Thanksgiving weekend, followed by speed events in Lake Louise, Alberta.
