Keely’s Ski Camp for Girls

Coronavirus Update:

Keely’s Mt. Hood Summer Race Camps normally run as an Overnight Camp, however DUE TO COVID-19 protocols and guidelines, we have changed these race camps to a DAY CAMP MODEL for SUMMER 2020.

For: All Ages  *Due to COVID-19 we will be requiring that all campers be able to function independently (i.e. carry their own equipment, load and unload chairlift alone, respect physical distancing guidelines, and be able to function independently at training without the help of an adult). If you do not think your daughter will be able to function independently this summer, the day camp is not a good fit for your daughter at this time.

Each session of this DAY CAMP will be six consecutive days of skiing, with the first date of each session being the first day on snow.

This Race Camp consists of a slalom training block and a GS training block. The girls will be taken through progressions of drills and gates throughout their time at Keely’s Camp. Campers will be put in age appropriate ski groups on the mountain.

About Our Camps: Our mission is to empower, inspire, educate and connect the next generation of girls in skiing and outdoor sports.

Overview: With an overwhelming positive response from our ski racing camps, we’ve now branched out into more outdoor camps for girls all over the world including backcountry skiing, ski mountaineering, and whitewater kayaking. Our camp provides the unique opportunity to be coached by not only the best females in the sports of skiing and kayaking, but also the best role models and mentors. As a staff of past Olympians, World Cup Racers, U.S. Ski Teamers, NCAA racers, big mountain skiing professionals, and world class instructors and guides, we recognize that outdoor sports have given us incredible opportunities and have shaped who we are today. At Keely’s Camp we are dedicated to sharing our wisdom, positive fun energy, knowledge and experience with the next generation of girls in skiing and outdoor sports.

What people are saying about Keely’s Camp:

Current U.S. Ski Team member, Olympian, and Keely’s Camp Athlete Ambassador, Alice Mckennis, says “I wish a camp like this was around when I was growing up.”

Parents Jeff and Kari Hensien said, “Keely’s camp provides girls with invaluable visual and contextual learning opportunities. At Keely’s camp girls have access to female coaches with World Cup, Olympic and upper level FIS experience who not only coach, but run the course with them.  We’re not aware of another experience like it.”

Coaches: Keely’s Camp is comprised of an all-star female staff of Olympians, World Cup Skiers, and Guides who coach, mentor, and empower girls in skiing and outdoor sports. Keely’s Camp Coaches are proud to give girls what they didn’t have growing up – FEMALE COACHES!
