In her post, Shiffrin expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support she and her also injured boyfriend, Aleksander Aamodt Kilde, have received during this challenging time.

Addressing the concerning trend of injuries among top athletes in ski racing, Shiffrin emphasized the demanding nature of the sport, particularly for those consistently on the podium. She echoed sentiments calling for a reevaluation of the race calendar and evening programs, highlighting the toll they take on athletes’ physical well-being.

Despite her progress in rehabilitation, Shiffrin announced her decision not to compete in Andorra due to her knee injury. She reassured fans that while her recovery is progressing positively, patience remains crucial for her return to competitive skiing.
