The Fischer Race Family is pleased to welcome highly promising new recruits for the coming season. Swiss Luca Aerni, Englishman Dave Ryding and German Marina Wallner are switching to the ski equipment manufactured in Ried im Innkreis and will be racing on Fischer skis from now on.

Luca Aerni has long been known for his technical prowess, and in the 27-year-old Swiss the Fischer Race Family has captured an established racer who will strengthen the team in the slalom, giant slalom and alpine combined.

“I’m really looking forward to working with my new colleagues and to the new challenge,” says Aerni. “It’s a shame that the season ended prematurely – fortunately, though, I had the chance to get out onto the snow with Fischer and test the equipment before the corona lockdown. After a couple of turns I knew that the chemistry was right. Not just as regards the equipment, but also the very family-like atmosphere in the Fischer team.”

The Fischer Race Family also welcomes back two athletes who are returning to Fischer equipment. Besides the German Marina Wallner, Englishman Dave Ryding has also chosen equipment from the Fischer racing lab.

“I’m very pleased to be back with the Fischer Race Family again and I appreciate the way everyone has made me welcome again,” says Ryding. “I can hardly wait to get back into action and regain my form.” Like Wallner, the 33-year-old will be competing chiefly in the technical disciplines Slalom and Giant Slalom.

The 25-year-old Wallner says of her move: “The decision to return to Fischer was an easy one. I’d been able to gain many years’ experience of the equipment and the brand so I know that I have top equipment that I can rely on. I’m looking forward to working together with a fantastic team and can hardly wait for the new racing season to start!”

Fischer Racing Director Siegi Voglreiter is also looking forward to an exciting new season: “We are delighted that we’ve been able to add to our team again this year. As a motivated sportsman with great potential Luca is a great addition. We’re convinced that he will build on his previous form and get back among the world’s best. Dave Ryding and Marina Wallner are perfect additions to our team in the technical disciplines. We will give our new athletes the best possible support and look forward to working with him.”

Apart from the new signings, contract extensions, for example with the two Austrians Max Franz and Stefan Brennsteiner, the German Marlene Schmotz and the Italians Manfred Mölgg and Giuliano Razzoli – the latter was already using Fischer for the last races of the previous season – have made the mood in the Fischer racing stable a very positive one.
