The FIS announced that one of the the two World Cup slalom races scheduled in Levi, Finland, for the upcoming weekend that was canceled due to a lack of snow will be made up later in November in Aspen, Colo.

Aspen, which is already scheduled to host women’s slalom and giant slalom races over the last weekend in November, will now host two slaloms and the GS in order to accommodate the lost ladies’ race from Levi. As such, the original schedule for that weekend has been amended. The venue will host races Friday through Sunday, Nov. 27-29, including the originally scheduled events as well as the make up slalom.

The new race program of the AspenWinternational 2015 is as follows:

Friday, Nov. 27 – giant slalom, 10:00/13:00 local time
Saturday, Nov. 28 – rescheduled slalom, 10:15/13:15 local time
Sunday, Nov. 29 – planned slalom, 10:00/13:00 local time

The FIS currently has no plans to reschedule the men’s slalom race from Levi, citing a packed winter calendar and sufficient number of slalom races already on the schedule.
