Lindsey Vonn rocks the ESPY Awards

Lindsey Vonn trains hard and plays hard. The World Cup star has recently been in Los Angeles, Calif., enjoying sunshine, pool parties and the ESPY Awards show – an annual event hosted by ESPN honoring top athletes in a variety of sport. Vonn has won two ESPYs in her career for best female athlete in 2010 and 2011, thrusting her into a legacy of top American athletes like soccer icon Mia Hamm and tennis siblings Venus and Serena Williams.

This year, Vonn hit the event in true Hollywood style, rocking an edgy, sparkly jumpsuit complete with superhero cape.

Thanks @michaelcostello for making me feel like a super hero at the @espys this year! ? #cape styled by-@madisonguest

Vonn’s sister, Karin Kildow, has been glued to her hip while in Los Angeles, so naturally she made an appearance on the red carpet in her own risqué jumpsuit.

While Vonn did not walk away with an award this year, she did present the award for best breakthrough athlete with Houston Texans football star J.J. Watt. Before the show, they shared this awkward moment on the red carpet.

Another winter sports athlete was honored this year. Jamie Anderson of the U.S. Snowboard Team represented USSA and won Best Female Action Sports Athlete – her third career ESPY Award. Anderson won the Burton U.S. Open in slopestyle, a silver medal at the X Games slopestyle and a win at the Olympic test event in PyeongChang, Korea this season. Add that to her titles as the 2016 FIS World Cup slopestyle champion and World Snowboarding Federation’s World Championship titles in slope and big air, and it’s no wonder that she won an ESPY.

Vonn will be back on snow soon since the women of the U.S. Ski Team are headed to New Zealand in a few weeks. Until then, it looks like Vonn and her entourage will be competing with Taylor Swift and her legion of celebrity beauties on Instagram. Game on? #squadgoals
