HEAD announced that another one of France’s leading ski racers is joining the World Cup Rebels for the forthcoming season. The highly anticipated news that Alexis Pinturault joins Adrien Theaux and other French racers in using the brand in the 2013–2014 World Cup season was finally released on Friday (June 13).

Pinturault is a proven World Cup winner in three disciplines yet wishes to be challenging for more World Cup race wins next season and also the overall globe. He has won seven World Cup races across all disciplines except downhill (including the season ending super G last season), and he has been on the podium a total of 22 times. Having finished third in the overall standings last season, Pinturault has long harbored hopes of challenging for the overall title and sees his relationship with HEAD as the best way forward to achieve this.

“The decision of Alexis to join the successful HEAD World Cup Rebels is a phenomenal testimony that our products are second to none,” said HEAD CEO Johan Eliasch. “I look forward to seeing Alexis competing for HEAD.”

Pinturault joins Adrien Theaux, Johan Clarey, Cyprien Richard and Mathieu Faivre from France on HEAD skis and boots.
