PARK CITY, UT (Dec. 14) – The 2013 U.S. Freestyle Moguls Team, lead by Olympic champion Hannah Kearney and Olympic bronze medalist Bryon Wilson, was named ahead of the Dec. 15 FIS Freestyle season opener in Ruka, Finland.

The 20 member team also features Bradley Wilson, a Junior Olympic gold medalist, 2009 World Champion Pat Deneen and World Cup winner Heather McPhie.

“This will be my 11th season on the U.S. Ski Team, but my enthusiasm to represent our country and travel the globe has not dampened with time,” said Kearney. “I am looking forward to this World Championship season because we have an awesome team dynamic which puts us in a good position to  defend our Nations Cup title from last season.”

Two newcomers, Cody Tempel (Missoula, MT) and Dylan Walczyk (Breckenridge, CO), were added to the team following standout performances last season.

“The preparation period that we had this summer was one of the best in recent history,” said head moguls coach Scott Rawles. “With the World Championships coming up in Voss, Norway in March and our test event at the Olympic site in Sochi, Russia in February, we are in an excellent position to build off of the momentum of one of the best seasons that we have ever had.”

The World Cup tour moves to the U.S. on Jan. 19-21 for the USANA U.S. Freestyle Cup in Lake Placid, NY followed by the Visa Freestyle International Jan. 31- Feb 2. in Deer Valley, UT.
