Austria Announces 2019-20 National Rosters

The alpine powerhouse nation of Austria announced their 2019-20 national team selections on Tuesday. In total, 64 men and 51 women have been given spots on next season’s teams. Although coy about the future of his skiing career, eight-time World Cup Overall Champion Marcel Hirscher highlights the men’s team alongside 2019 World Championship medalists Michael Matt, Marco Schwarz, Vincent Kriechmayr, and Matthias Mayer.

For the women, 2019 downhill crystal globe winner Nicole Schmidhofer headlines the squad alongside two-time Overall World Cup Champion Anna Veith, who sat out most of last season with a knee injury.
