In episode 15 of the Skiing is Believing podcast, Alan and Matt met American giant slalom specialist George Steffey.

He shares some interesting tales of how he learned to ski on a short course of land across the road from where he lived as a child, a short course that Mikaela Shiffrin once visited.

They also discussed the opportunities George has been granted through the Global Racing Team and the big part the team played in George scoring FIS World Cup points. While also explaining the differences between national teams and global racing teams.

Furthermore, George also tells us about his hopes for next season, where he looks to consistently score FIS World Cup Top 30 results and hopefully enjoy a good first World Championship in Saalbach.
