The Nevada Ski Team Boosters will bring Ski Ball back to the Reno Ballroom on October 30 to raise funds for Nevada Skiing student-athletes.
Ski Ball 2026 will return to the Reno Ballroom on Friday, October 30, for an evening of food, live music and fundraising in support of Nevada Skiing.
Hosted by the Nevada Ski Team Boosters, this year’s event is themed “Denim and Diamonds 2.0: Not Your Average Ski Ball.” The fundraiser will run from 5:30 to 10:00 p.m. and feature gourmet food stations, cocktail-hour drinks and live country-western music performed by Jakota Wass and his trio.
The evening will also include special guests from the skiing community and the largest silent auction in Ski Ball history.
“We look forward to welcoming longtime supporters and new friends for an evening that celebrates Nevada skiing and expands opportunities for our student-athletes,” Nevada Skiing head coach Cameron Smith said.
Supporting Nevada Skiing’s Student-Athletes
Funds raised through Ski Ball help provide Nevada Skiing student-athletes with additional scholarships, training opportunities, equipment and other essential resources.
The Nevada Ski Team Boosters’ broader goal is to help build a nationally competitive NCAA program that allows athletes to reach their full potential on and off the mountain while creating a source of pride for the Nevada Wolf Pack and the Reno-Tahoe skiing community.
