Canada sends 14 to World Championships including 3 rookies
CALGARY, Canada – Alpine Canada Alpin announced its official team to compete at the 2015 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in Vail/Beaver Creek, Colo., from Feb. 2-15 on Thursday, one day after most other nations formalized their rosters.
Manuel Osborne-Paradis and Larisa Yurkiw, two veterans on the squad, each have a podium result for the current World Cup season, and Marie-Michele Gagnon and Erin Mielzynski have both finished in the top 10 at races.
This will be the first World Championships for Erik Read, Candace Crawford, and Valerie Grenier.
