Full steam ahead for Val Gardena and Alta Badia
After days of waiting, the FIS finally announced the confirmation of the men’s World Cup speed races in Val Gardena/Groeden, Italy, scheduled for Dec. 19 and 20 earlier today (Dec. 14). The first team captains’ meeting in Val Gardena will take place in just two days, on Dec. 16.
Additionally, the Dec. 21 men’s giant slalom race in Alta Badia, Italy, also received confirmation today after passing snow control. There is a night slalom race scheduled to be held in Madonna di Campiglio, Italy, on Dec. 22 which will wrap up the men’s World Cup calendar prior to the short Christmas break.
