German team leader Felix Neureuther had undergone shoulder surgery after an April injury and will be off skis for up to three months.
Neureuther had surgery on his right shoulder in Munich today (May 5) after injuring in a mid-April fall while ski testing at Moeltal. Although he will be off skis for an extended period, his rehabilitation program was scheduled to begin within a day or two and it is hoped he will be ready to get on snow, wothout pain, for the August training camp in New Zealand.
