Jenn Heil has been named the Canadian Freestyle Ski Association’s Canada Post Athlete of the Year for 2009-10.

Heil had another hugely successful season, capped by a silver medal at the Vancouver Olympics and her record-tying fifth career International Ski Federation World Cup moguls championship. She was on the podium in eight of the nine mogul events she competed in this past winter, winning four times.

Mikael Kingsbury of Deux Montagnes, Quebec was named rookie of the year. The 17-year-old won the NorAm Grand Prix title and two fourth-place finishes on the World Cup circuit.
