In the latest Skiing is Believing Podcast, Alan and Matt recap the latest South American Cup action from Bariloche, Argentina, featuring two giant slaloms and one slalom.
In part two, Matt speaks with Middlebury College racer Nick Unkovskoy, who claimed two giant slalom victories in Chapelco earlier this month. Unkovskoy discusses racing the Argentinian series, his preparations for the upcoming season and what lies ahead.
During the recording, we also received news that Sofia Goggia was returning to Italy for further medical tests after falling ill in Argentina.
With fewer than six weeks remaining until the 2026/27 World Cup opener in Sölden, the new season is quickly approaching. Beginning next month, listeners can expect at least two episodes per week—plus daily coverage during the World Championships and World Cup Finals.
