Oberson to partner with Canadian alpine team

Oberson to partner with Canadian alpine team{mosimage}Calgary, Alberta (September 26, 2005) Alpine Canada Alpin – the governing
body for ski racing in Canada – announces a new partnership with Oberson, a
leading retailer for specialized sports goods in Québec.

Oberson, which accounts for two large sporting goods stores in the Montreal
area, becomes the official sponsor and technical partner of the Canadian
Alpine Ski Team and Canadian Disabled Alpine Ski Team. This agreement makes
Oberson the only ski retailer in Quebec affiliated with the Canadian Alpine
Ski Team.

With a multi-year partnership, Oberson will be able to offer its clients the
same products used by the country’s best skiers and sell official goods
merchandised by Alpine Canada Alpin. Additionally, Oberson’s clients will
benefit from the same technical know-how as the Canadian Alpine Ski Team in
terms of ski boots adjustments and skis maintenance.

“Oberson stores are proud to be part of Alpine Canada Alpin’s family in
order to develop athletic excellence,” stated Maurice Oberson, president
and founder of Oberson stores. “With this new alliance, we will be able to
help international level athletes while continuing our support of young
local athletes.”

Oberson’s contribution comes at an opportune time as members of the Canadian
Alpine & Disabled Alpine Ski Teams prepare for an exciting World Cup season
which kickstarts in less than one month in Soelden, Austria.

“To develop the best ski program in the world, we need financial, technical
and human resources,” said Ken Read, Alpine Canada Alpin’s president and
national team alumnus. “Oberson’s contribution to Alpine Canada Alpin will
help elite and development-level athletes in their relentless pursuit of
excellence.”
