Carrera rejoins USSA equipment pool

Carrera Sport USA has signed a deal to rejoin the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association equipment pool as an official supplier of helmets, goggles and sunglasses to the team’s athletes through 2010.

Carrera Sport USA has signed a deal to rejoin the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association equipment pool as an official supplier of helmets, goggles and sunglasses to the team’s athletes through 2010.
    "We’re extremely pleased to maintain our relationship with the USSA organization," said David Currier, Carrera’s general manager. "And it’s important for the strength of the Carrera brand that we continue to work with the nation’s premier athletes across all disciplines."

They’ve been a key partner in contributing to our success," said Dale Schoon, associate athletic director for USSA. “We look forward to a long, successful partnership."
    Carrera's traditional emphasis on helmets and goggles for alpine and jumping athletes has been expanded to include a bigger focus on cross-country racers with technical eyewear featuring dual anti-fog thermal lenses and polarization. 
    Carrera also will continue to expand its product support of junior teams, clubs and academies across the country.
