The International Ski Federation will decide on Saturday whether to call off this month's World Cup women's races in the French resort of Val d'Isere scheduled for Dec. 16-17.
The FIS said on its Web site that a snow inspection had been carried out and the weather forecast was positive.
"No alternative sites are available at the moment," the sport's governing body added.
A downhill and a super-G are on the schedule that weekend.
Men's races in Val d'Isere this weekend had to be called off because of warm weather, although one, Sunday's super combined, has been switched to the Austrian resort of Reiteralm.
Sölden in Austria and St. Moritz in Switzerland have also had to pull out of hosting races because of the mild European weather.
