RMD golf tourney set for Sept. 14 in Vail

The ninth annual Viele Construction RMD Golf Tournament will be held Friday, Sept. 14 in Vail, Colorado.

THE NINTH ANNUAL Viele Construction RMD Golf Tournament will be held Friday, Sept. 14 in Vail, Colorado.
Join fellow winter sports supporters and golf enthusiasts for an exciting round of golf in the shadow of the spectacular Gore Mountains in stunning Vail, while rubbing elbows with current and former U.S. Ski Team members and coaches and current Colorado All-Star members. Stars will include three-time Olympian and six-time World Cup winner Kristina Koznick; Colorado’s own Jason Rosener, who earned a 15th-place finish at the Olympic DH in Nagano; World Cup veteran and Olympian and X Games gold medalist Casey Puckett; and World Cup downhill racer Justin Johnson.
Presented by Sports Club International, this event benefits the Colorado Gold Medal Initiative, an athlete-centered talent development initiative with the goal of sustainable Olympic excellence by Colorado athletes in snowsports.
In this exciting event, each foursome will have the opportunity to bid on the ski pro of their choice. Teams will then be sold in a Calcutta-style auction. Winning teams will win cash prizes for their owners, and the rest of the proceeds will benefit RMD. All levels are welcome — you don’t have to be a great golfer to come join the fun and support a great cause.
