Headed by orthopedic surgeon Kevin R. Stone, MD, The Stone Clinic, is a private sports medicine institution that treats athletic injuries and arthritis, and has innovated in biologic joint reconstruction. Having served as a physician for the U.S. Ski Team, U.S. Pro Ski Tour, and the U.S. Olympic Training Center, Dr. Stone gained first-hand knowledge of the athletes’ limited opportunities.
“While there are many seminars on sports injuries or the state of the ski industry, to our knowledge none address career training for top women athletes. Helping them learn to exploit their moment in the sun and enjoy a successful post-podium career is the goal of this Conference.”
