St. Moritz: American women have strong showing in European Cup

The European Cup saw some action this weekend with women’s super G and super combined races in St. Mortiz, Switzerland. 

Winning the super G was Italian Wendy Siorpaes. Canadian Britt Janky took second while Switzerland’s Dominique Ginsin represented the home team on the podium in third. American Keely Kelleher finished fifth, .46 seconds off the lead. Teammates Stacey Cook (12th) and Caroline Lalive (13th) also raced well at next week’s World Cup venue. For full results click here.
