The EISA season kicked off with the Colby Carnival at Sugarloaf Mountain. Dartmouth takes the lead after GS, slalom and Nordic events.

The Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Association (EISA) circus is days away from kicking off, with Colby College hosting the opening carnival at the iconic Sugarloaf Resort. These are racers and teams to watch for during the 2024 season.

The EISA regular season came to a close on Saturday with the Slalom portion of the Saint Lawrence carnival. As athletes scrambled to earn a birth to the NCAA Championships held on the same hill in two weeks.

The EISA Regional Championships hosted by Saint Lawrence kicked off on Friday with the GS portion of the event. Athletes got to race on the hill the day before with the makeup of the Saint Michael's GS.

The Williams carnival kicked off on Friday, February 17 with the Slalom portion. While GS would usually be raced first, poor weather forecasted for Friday meant the decision was made to race Slalom first.

As temperatures crept down on Friday, February 17, it was apparent that Saturday would be a treat for the racers of the EISA.

The morning started with a scary site for racers and coaches. High winds put chairlifts on wind holds and endangered the status of the race.
