Franjo von Allmen thrilled the home crowd with a dominant downhill victory on the legendary Nationale piste in Crans-Montana, edging Dominik Paris and Ryan Cochran-Siegle in a full-throttle final race before the Olympic Games. With momentum building across the Swiss, Italian, and North American teams, the men now turn their focus to Bormio as Olympic downhill training begins.

Lindsey Vonn was taken for medical evaluation after crashing during the women’s World Cup downhill in Crans-Montana, Switzerland, a race later cancelled due to unsafe conditions. The incident comes less than two weeks before the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics.
