Magnus Andersson Joins Palisades Tahoe in Key Coaching Role

Magnus Andersson, former head coach of the U.S. Women’s World Cup tech team, has joined Palisades Tahoe in a key leadership role. He will guide the club’s U System, support more than 40 coaches and 250 athletes, and bring a hands-on, long-term vision to one of North America’s most respected alpine programs.

USA’s Seymour Shines in Stifel Palisades Tahoe Cup Slalom as Feller Secures Victory

Sunday, February 15th, Austrian Manuel Feller, the leader of the 2024 slalom standings, delivered his fourth victory of the season. Although the warm temperatures and a complex course made it difficult for the last men to be fast he skied brilliantly to overcome France's Clement Noel and Germany's Linus Strasser. However, all three men finished on the podium.

Stifel Palisades Tahoe Cup Slalom: Strasser Leads Amidst Tight Competition: USA’s Seymour Joins the Battle

After the first run of the Stifel Palisades Tahoe Cup Slalom, Germany's Linus Strasser is the race leader. However, there are three others within a second of his time. French star Clement Noel is second (+0.40), and the season slalom leader Austrian Manuel Feller was the third fastest (+0.46). The only other racer within a second of Strasser is Norwegian Timon Haugan, who was second in Palisades Tahoe a year ago.

Marco Odermatt Leads Red Dog GS: Radamus Surges Into Contention

The second skier to race the first course was Marco Odermatt. Odermatt has won the last nine World Cup giant slaloms (GS). He is the best and crossed with a (-1.79) lead. The snow conditions at the Red Dog race venue in Palisades Tahoe were perfect, with blue skies and direct sunlight. After the first seven skiers had attacked the course, Odermatt's lead was (-0.15) ahead of superstar Norwegian veteran Henrik Kriostoffersen. However, in third place is Stifel US Ski Team's River Radamus. (+0.78).
