Recap: The Men Conclude Regular Season NorAm Races Before NorAm Finals

This past week, the men competed in the final regular season NorAm series, hosted in Mont Ste-Marie, Quebec. Two giant slaloms and two slaloms were scheduled. However, one of the slaloms got canceled. Nevertheless, the men had a successful few days of racing before the NorAm Finals.

Odermatt Makes History with 12th Consecutive GS Win: Eyes Stenmark’s Record

Switzerland's Marco Odermatt overcomes a first-run deficit to win his ninth World Cup of the season and his 12th consecutive. He now owns the second-longest discipline-winning streak in history. Only Ingemar Stenmark has a longer consecutive streak at 14. There are two more GS races this season.

Thrilling Showdown: Alexander Steen Olsen Takes Lead in Stifel Aspen Winternational GS

After Saturday's first run of GS in Aspen, Colorado, the top three remain unchanged from yesterday. However, today, the leader isn't Switzerland's Marco Odermatt but the 22-year-old Norwegian Alexander Steen Olsen. Odermatt trails in third place, 0.32 seconds behind the leader, with his teammate Loic Meillard closely behind the Norwegian in second, just 0.09 seconds off the lead.

Recap: Last weekend the men and women of the Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Ski Association (RMISA) competed in Big Sky Resort, Montana, in the RMISA Alpine Qualifiers and the RMISA Championships. It was an intense battle for the athletes as it marked the final events before NCAA Championships. As a team, the CU Buffs came out on top of the 75th Annual RMISA Championships.

Although the warm temperatures and a complex course made it difficult for the last men to be fast he skied brilliantly to overcome France's Clement Noel and Germany's Linus Strasser. However, all three men finished on the podium.

Stifel Palisades Tahoe Cup Slalom: Strasser Leads Amidst Tight Competition: USA’s Seymour Joins the Battle

After the first run of the Stifel Palisades Tahoe Cup Slalom, Germany's Linus Strasser is the race leader. However, there are three others within a second of his time. French star Clement Noel is second (+0.40), and the season slalom leader Austrian Manuel Feller was the third fastest (+0.46). The only other racer within a second of Strasser is Norwegian Timon Haugan, who was second in Palisades Tahoe a year ago.
